I discovered homeopathy in my early twenties when my life-long eczema was troubling me enormously. Within a year or two I found my skin was completely better, however, during the process of seeing a homeopath each month, I realised that there were so many more things that I wanted to address. It was the first time anyone had said to me that there was another way, that I could go on a journey with my health rather than go to the doctors for a pill and I could do it all naturally. It is now twenty years later and my love of homeopathy has persisted, growing stronger with each day as I see people alleviated from emotional or physical burdens that have affected them during their lives.
I qualified as a homeopath in 2005, having completed 4 years of training, 2 years with the Centre for Homeopathic Education and 2 years with The Lakeland College of Homeopathy.
I am now a member of the Alliance for Registered Homeopaths (ARH) and abide by their code of conduct and ethics. Since qualifying I have continued my education within the homeopathic field by attending ‘Continuing Professional Development’ (CPD) courses ranging from ‘The Healers Journey’ with Ian Watson and ‘The Cosmic Chakra’ Workshops with Peter Tadd to attending one day lectures with homeopaths such as Colin Griffith and Hilary Barnett. I have also attended a programme of Anatomy and Physiology lectures with the Centre for Homeopathic Education. I believe that it is crucial to continue to work on myself as I work with others as they journey on their path to wellbeing and each time I work with a patient on their challenges, I realise how very lucky I am and am privileged to be part of their journey.
